Next-To-Last Bonnie Hunt Show

It is unbelievable  to me that "The Bonnie Hunt Show" has been canceled, but that embarrassing, and slightly disturbing "Tyra Banks Show" continues to have life. I just don't get it. The Bonnie Hunt Show was so funny and zany, informational, uplifting, and sometimes tear jerking. Why in the world has it been canceled? I hope the powers that be have huge plans for Bonnie. She is one of the most generous, and genuine entertainment personalities.  It is a shame no one really gives her a real chance to showcase her talent and wonderful personality. I had a dream last night that I gave Bonnie a huge hug and told her I would see her later (as if. . . she doesn't even know who I am) so I hope my dream was a premonition and that Bonnie Hunt will be offered some other, better show (time, production company, tv station, etc.) so that more people will get to be blessed with her crazy comedy and big heart.

Bonnie Hunt Show Canceled!

I'm in shock! I just read that "The Bonnie Hunt Show" has not been renewed for a third season! I just don't understand the thinking these companies (Warner Brothers, for this one) base their decisions on. Bonnie Hunt is the only show I watch regularly in the morning. They claim the reason it is not being picked up for a third season is because of low ratings. That may be true, but one has to look at the time of day the show is on. There isn't anything on other than her show, and nowadays there aren't that many people who are home in the morning and early afternoon. Why can't they just leave it on? What will replace it? Dead air? That totally annoying "Let's Make A Deal" show should be canceled because there is no redeeming quality in that show.

Bonnie Hunt seems to never catch a break. Every television show she has tried has been canceled, and I don't think it is because she isn't very good; it's just that the production companies don't want to give it time. They just want to make money over providing good, quality shows for people to watch. If you take a look at her show's website, it seems like it is a very popular show. I wish there was something loyal viewers could do to save the show. I know other shows that have been canceled have been brought back after viewers protested. Any of my readers who enjoy her show, let's start a writing campaign to keep Bonnie on the air!

New Season of The Bonnie Hunt Show

Hey everyone! The new season of "The Bonnie Hunt Show" starts today. I have been looking forward to getting back into my viewing routine. The show is great. Different than Ellen DeGeneres, and Oprah and all the other talk-shows. Bonnie has proven that she can play with the "big girls!" If you haven't seen her show, you should check it out. It is just the right combination of fall-down-on-the-floor-laughter, to talking with celebrities, to working for a common cause, to addressing current issues. Bonnie is genuine and does not seem to be all puffed up about herself. It is a great show, and I hope this season is as good as her first one. Enjoy! www.bonniehunt.com

ZAMU Health Drink: Is It Real?

I was watching "The Bonnie Hunt Show" this morning and she had Olivia Newton-John and her new huband, John Easterling on. They were talking about the couple's trip to the Amazon and the work Mr. Easterling does in and for the rainforest. They brought Bonnie a bottle of ZAMU which is a drink made from the camu camu berry. The claim is that the camu camu berry has the highest concentration of natural vitamin C. The drink, ZAMU is some elixir that you drink twice a day to improve your health. Mr. Easterling said that is has ingredients in it that increase the seritonin uptake in your body, so you feel "really good" when you drink the stuff. Bonnie and her guests shared a swig of the juice and then she and Bruno Tonioli had some more. I'm just curious if the stuff works.

I looked up ZAMU and like every other health food craze, there is a "business opportunity" for you to start your own business selling the stuff. It is quite expensive, $45.00 for one bottle and $125.00 for a case of four bottles. My hope is that this is on the up and up. I hope that the people who produce ZAMU are not plundering and raping the rainforest in search of enough camu camu berries to make this miracle juice. I'm skeptical, how about you?

Bonnie Hunt on The View

I have the habit of watching "The View" at 11:00 and then "The Bonnie Hunt Show" at 12:00 everyday. Sometimes the opinions and the arguing and the silliness that goes on on "The View" bothers me, but it is always entertaining. I love Bonnie Hunt and have been enjoying her new talk show almost everyday since it began airing on September 8, 2008. She makes me laugh and seems like a genuinely gracious and giving person. Since she is from the Midwest like I am, I feel like she is an old friend. I hope her appearance on "The View" today will be funny and interesting. I have been reading the message boards about "The Bonnie Hunt Show" and have decided that there are some people out there who just love to see other people fail, and who love to criticize. They are quite mean spirited in some of the posts about Bonnie and her show. At any rate, I like her and think she is one television and movie personality who deserves success and is using here celebrity to make the world a little better.

Bonnie Hunt Withdrawal

In addition to having my usual schedule mixed up this week, I have missed every day of the "Bonnie Hunt Show." I started going through Bonnie withdrawal on Tuesday. Before this week, I had watched all of her shows. She has only been on air for a month, but I am hooked on the show. I feel like I miss seeing a really good friend. Anyway, I will get my Bonnie fix today since I will be recuperating from our house guests and doing laundry. Can't wait to see you, Bon!

First Bonnie Hunt Show: Pretty Good

I didn't get to do any blogging done yesterday since is was "one of those" days. One unplanned thing after another happened, but I did get to watch most of Bonnie Hunt's new talk show. It was pretty good, and was kind of similar to the fictional talk show she "hosted" on her short-lived sitcom a few years ago. I am looking forward to watching the show regularly, and I hope that in time she will be able to get some really interesting and fun guests on her show. Not that Robin Williams isn't fun--he was a lot to watch--but I wanted more. Anyway, the show was pretty good and I will certainly be a regular viewer. One question though: what in the world is she drinking out of that huge dog bowl sized mug on her desk? The vessel is lovely with the flowers and things, but good grief, the thing is huge!

Funny Bonnie

As a little follow-up for Bonnie Hunt fans, I thought you might enjoy these clips. Also, if you don't know who Bonnie is, these are just a small sampling of Bonnie's genius.
