New Year, Better Year?

So far, the new year seems to be starting out on a more positive note than last year. I am happy to report that my Adsense  account has grown substancially and I am excited about that. I am not making tons of money, but my sense of accomplishment makes me feel so good. I have now come to a point where my blogging earns something almost everyday, so I am proof that it can be done, even by someone who just writes about my life and my experiences. Anyone who is considering blogging and using Google Adsense should definitely go for it! Other financial matters seem to be less critical for the moment, but I am still longing to find a way to get my family out of the stupid Chapter 13 by paying it all off at once. I know it sounds crazy, but I really think I can eventually find a way. In the meantime, I am going to keep blogging away and I have also found a new site that pays you to post. Happy New Year; 2008 Is Gonna Be Great!

I, like many others I know, are very happy to see 2007 end and have a fresh new year. It feels more hopeful. 2007, for us was just about the crappiest year I can remember. This year, my hope is that within a few weeks, our house in Fort Wayne will sell. It has been sitting in this horrible market since the end of July. I also hope to make some friends in this new town we are living in, and I hope to be happy and supportive of my husband. I am also going to seriously look for a job, walk at least 30 minutes three times a week, and yell at my kids less. I am also feeling more hopeful about 2008 because we will be electing A NEW PRESIDENT!!!!!!! That has to be one of the most hopeful things of all. Everyone is ready for change and looking for some shred of hope. I think this might be the year for all of us!

Disney Channel

Say what you will about the Disney corporation, but you have to hand it to them; they do a great job of giving kids what they want. From the High School Musical(s) phenonmenon to the Disney Channel "Happy U Year" shout outs, they have kids fascinated. I just visited http://www.disney.com/ and saw the New Year shout outs my girls put on there. They are really cute. I sent them to my family so they could see them as well. All of the videos on the site are clean, short and a great way for kids to communicate. Disney has done it again!
