Google Adsense Works, Haters be Damned!

For some reason, my silly little blog has taken some pretty cheap shots from readers (haters?) who seem to think that just by reading one of my posts they know who I am and feel the need to criticize me. I don't understand that at all, and even though it shouldn't, it does actually hurt when people make comments that are unfairly critical. I post a lot of entries that are just what is bugging me or causing some sort of distress in my life. I post it because, quite frankly, it feels good to get it out. Maybe someone will read it and feel a little less alone, or feel like their troubles are not as bad as they thought, or it  may make them mad. I don't know. I also post entries about products and services I have tried because sometimes people want to know about that kind of thing. It shouldn't be the source of such criticism. One of the last entries I wrote was about an optical firm I purchased some prescription eyeglasses from. One (possibly the only) reader felt the need to criticize my writing and continued writing nasty comments. I deleted one, and he criticized me for that. That sort of stuff seems so unnecessary to me, and why it hurts my feelings, I don't know. What I do know is that this blog makes money for me. No matter how many negative comments it gets, I am making money, and that is what makes doing this worth it. I have created a nice, yet small, stream of income from my writing even if in someone elses opinion, it is not good, or it is boring, or it appears to be something it's not. As it turns out, the haters seem to be the ones who are helping me make a little money, and that makes me the winner. I am proof that writing a blog and connecting it with Google Adsense works, plain and simple. Don't hate me because I am successful.

I Love Fridays!

In honor of my new, more positive attitude, I would like to say that I love Fridays! I liked Fridays before I started working because it felt like something (the week???) had been completed, and everything would start afresh again on Monday. Now that I have my little part-time job and I have earned a couple of paychecks, I LOVE Fridays--every other one, especially. There is nothing in the world like seeing that a deposit has been made in your bank account. It is very satisfying. Along the same lines is my satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment with regard to this blog. I have been blogging for a few years now and have been trying to make my blog something that is pleasant and enjoyable to read. I also wanted to see if I could earn a little money with my casual writing, and I have. With the Google AdSense, I have slowing been building up my blog's money making ability, that is a great feeling too. Thank you for reading and you truly can make money with a simple, blog/journal.

The Final Push!

Hey! I am just $1.86 away from reaching my Google AdSense goal. One final push, and away I go to my first payday! Yay! This just goes to show you that anyone, even lowly housewives can make a little money using Google AdSense and a personal blog. Yes you can! Now readers, please, just give me that little push.

$3.00 Away

I don't know why this seems blog-worthy to me, but it just is. I am only $3.00 away from being eligible to be paid by Google Adsense. I have been plugging away at building my little blog and make it pay a little bit of pocket money. Now, I am  so close to my payday that I can hardly stand it. Sure, it has taken me a LONG time to get here. I made a lot of mistakes and I have been working at this for the better part of 2 years, but the point is this: one really CAN make money blogging. It is possible. I know that now because I have done it and I am proud of myself. I hope I can improve my blog and make money even faster. Google AdSense  can  help you make money. Take a chance and try it for yourself!

Slow Month(s)

I don't know what is wrong with me, but I just don't have anything interesting to blog about. I haven't earned anything with my Google AdSense stuff in the last month either. I wonder if it has to do with my spending a lot of my "free" time on Facebook? Those blasted games! They are such time stealers! Anyway, I thought I would check in with my "trash heap" of a blog, just so no cobwebs start forming. I think I hear crickets chirping in the corner. Oh well, hope your October is going well!

Again, Google Adsense Amazes Me!

For all of you bloggers out there who have not signed up for Google AdSense, I just want you to know that all of a sudden, my earnings have exploded! I have been using Google Adsense to earn a little extra money, and at first, I was very discouraged. Weeks and weeks went by without even one click. Now, a little over a year later, things have changed. I have realized that even though my blogging is really just my silly little thoughts about my insignificant life, people really do read what I write and people, for whatever reason, do click on the ads displayed on my blog. If you doubt it, all I have to say is just try it. It won't cost you anything. The one thing you do have to do though is write new posts frequently. That has really made the difference for me. So, go ahead, what are you waiting for? Just try Google AdSense and see what happens.

Go Google Adsense, Go!

Do you have a Google AdSense account? If you do any kind of blogging, you should. I keep earning money almost every day. If my casual blogging can earn money, just imagine what you could earn if you had more than one blog, or a blog that is targeted to a certain product or group of people! If you have been thinking that earning a little extra money would be great, get on over to Google and set up an AdSense account. You can start earning money right away, I mean it!

AdSense Drought

Wow, I've hit a drought with regard to my Adsense earnings. I had been going along at a nice little clip, earning a little money each month. It all adds up, you know. Now, it seems I've got nothing. Things are really slow. I guess the rotten economy has had an effect on even my little old ads. Bummer. I guess I will have to try write less about my boring life and more about stuff that is going to generate income. Too bad, I rather like just writing whatever I feel like :-( Back to checking Google Trends.

How Did Perez Hilton Do It?

I have long lamented (in my various blogs) that I would love to make money blogging. I have several different blogs and I have to be really honest, I have earned a tiny (and I do mean tiny) bit of money using Google AdSense. It is fun to see that your account is earning money because of something you wrote. For me, however, the money is slow to trickle in. I am fascinated by people like Perez Hilton who somehow find a magical subject to blog about and then all of a sudden explode and the thing becomes quite lucrative. I just haven't found the niche that will earn the kind of money I need. Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and all the others that seem to be bloggers meal tickets just aren't appealing to me. I think they are all shameful and really not worth blogging that much about. Perez Hilton must be a genius with lots of time on his hands. Kudos to him. Maybe what I will do is study him and start blogging about him! I am desperate for money, can you tell?

Google Yourself!

Have you ever done a Google search for yourself. It's weird, isn't it? I googled myself and found out that there is someone out there with my same name, but she lives in New Jersey and is the general manager of a gym. She apparently made some news by banning grunting in her gym. I didn't read any of the articles because they sounded a little boring, actually. I also saw that a little piece I wrote about the death of our pet hamster is out there. I used the Google search for my daughters as well and found absolutely nothing out there for two of the names and a bunch of stuff out there for the other two of my daughters. I didn't read any of that stuff either because most of it was in Italian! So, I was glad to see that my older girls are obeying the rules of using the internet and that my oldest one has not posted anything on the internet about herself. Good going girls! I think I will Google my maiden name. One time my brother got a call from the Colorado State Police asking him if he knew a woman with my same name. He said he knew his sister's name (me), but that I had never been in Colorado. This woman had robbed a bank or something. It is a little unnerving to know someone is out there doing things, for good or evil, and has the same name as you. So, go Google yourself. You might find out something juicy!
