ZAMU Health Drink: Is It Real?

I was watching "The Bonnie Hunt Show" this morning and she had Olivia Newton-John and her new huband, John Easterling on. They were talking about the couple's trip to the Amazon and the work Mr. Easterling does in and for the rainforest. They brought Bonnie a bottle of ZAMU which is a drink made from the camu camu berry. The claim is that the camu camu berry has the highest concentration of natural vitamin C. The drink, ZAMU is some elixir that you drink twice a day to improve your health. Mr. Easterling said that is has ingredients in it that increase the seritonin uptake in your body, so you feel "really good" when you drink the stuff. Bonnie and her guests shared a swig of the juice and then she and Bruno Tonioli had some more. I'm just curious if the stuff works.

I looked up ZAMU and like every other health food craze, there is a "business opportunity" for you to start your own business selling the stuff. It is quite expensive, $45.00 for one bottle and $125.00 for a case of four bottles. My hope is that this is on the up and up. I hope that the people who produce ZAMU are not plundering and raping the rainforest in search of enough camu camu berries to make this miracle juice. I'm skeptical, how about you?

Hi,

Yes, Zamu is real. Amazon John is real. And our company and mission is real.

I understand and appreciate your skepticism because there is so much hype and garbage out there when it comes to health.

As for the Rainforest, our Co. was recognized by Jean Michel Cousteau as "the strongest testament that keeping the Rainforest alive and productive is more economically profitable than cutting it down."

If you'd like to try a bottle risk-free, call 1-888-814-3727.

And yes, I make money in this business and I'm damn proud of it too!

Thanks,

Peter

I'm so encouraged to hear that indeed it is real, and not some scam. So many times these things are. I hope it is also true that the money made from Zamu is put back toward preserving the Amazon.

I spent $750 on Zamu after promises of better health and clear mind...they even touted not having to wear glasses after drinking it for two weeks...cures arthrictic problems, helps mood...a true panacea with no true studies by any major center not with self-interest in the product. The drink tastes good, but at $125 for 4 bottles, or $45 for one, I fear Zamu is way overhyped ...and the cost is largely supporting the pyramid of people selling it. You'll see a small asterisk on their marketing stating that their statements about health have not been proven (this, I suppose, to keep them legal so that the FDA doesn't get after them for false advertising). I love Olivia Newton-John...think she is an honest, wonderful human being who gives tremendously to this world (especially her cancer appeals). But I think this time she has been blind-sighted by love. The Zamu conferences feel a bit cult like, where people get swept up in John Easterling's charisma, dare not question the validity of the product, and with great loyalty get swept into the power of a placebo panacea. I started to say, after $750 of Zamu, I feel no different....sorry.

Like yourself I am a bit sceptical of the route to market for Zamu, I can well believe the product may has benefits and it does have me intrigued.

With nearly 20 years exposure to botanical products including Aveda I can vouch for there value.

My concerns however are not eased by the over hyped swarve sales pitch. In the UK we are way more sceptical and the Amazon Herb website does more to put buyers off rather than inform. Anything even remotely associated with pyramid selling is immediately disregarded as a con, which is a shame but that is the culture. (any one who has delt with six sigma is aware of the four key attributes, (Principles, Disciplines, Practises and Cultures). Plus at the price of £99 for four bottles ex vat, It's a huge ask to expect anyone to buy the product. as it will cost one person £1,693.69p per year just for the minimum recommended dosages.

I genuinely admire Olivia Newton John AO OBE, she is a remarkable lady and an inspiration to many but I have concerns. The adaptation of Xanadu to Zamu does not help and if anything devalues the sincerity of the productI, I hope she is not being swept up by the publicity for which her standing can create to push her husbands business.

It may well have been better for them to have gone for a stronger distributor and utilise the already established health food outlets and direct internet ordering. Reaching a much larger market at significantly more realistic price.

Hi,
I can tell you that I have used Amazon Herbs with great success for several years now. I had a hiatal hernia that I had for many years, I started taking the Gravizon and in reality after 3 months the hernia shrunk in size from the size of a walnut to the size of a kidney bean. My husband who is diabetic takes the Metabazon and tells me he can tell a difference in his blood sugar. The Treasure Tea is the only tea I can drink without adding sugar, you don't need to as it tastes fabulous on it's own.
Amazon Herb is also the only company that gives you a full money back guarantee for 1 year on the current product you order. So if you order 1 bottle of Zamu you have a year guarantee.
The Lluvia skin care line is by far the best I have ever tried and it is truly chemical free, synthetic free, paraben free and organic. If you try a bottle of the Camu C Serum you will see results. These products are so concentrated they last a long time and you really get your moneys worth. You can continue to put chemicals on your face or you can nourish your skin with natural chemical free products that do what they say they will do.
I am a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner and I can tell you with all the herbs on the market today, Amazon Herb is by far the best available. Feel free to visit my site at http://www.sacredeartharomatics.com

Thank You,
Cindy RH, HHP

Mike Adams does not know what he is talking about. These tropicle sweet fruits are super acidic! See my deal on Zrii and why it is a true whole body wellness product. It greatly reduces acidity. You Tube: Jeff Wallen Zrii
